Shang Wang

Shang is an assistant professor at Stevens Institute of Technology. He earned his Ph.D. in 2014 from the University of Houston working in Kirill Larin’s lab. He was a postdoctoral associate (2014-2018) and later an instructor (2018-2019) in Irina Larina’s lab at Baylor College of Medicine. He joined the department of biomedical engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology in August 2019. Shang is a recipient of the NIH/NIGMS Maximizing Investigators’ Research Award, the NIH/NIBIB Trailblazer Award, and the American Heart Association postdoctoral fellowship. He serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Photonics Journal.

Jingyu Sun

Jingyu is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the department of biomedical engineering. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from Stevens Institute of Technology with an outstanding achievement award. She is interested in developing functional nanomaterials for theranostics, optical bioimaging and bioengineering.

Andre Faubert

Andre received his bachelor's in biomedical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2023. He now works as a research associate developing computational methods and data visualization techniques for OCT. He is the lead developer for Open Chrono-Morph Viewer. His research interests lie in high-dimensionality topology, signal processing, machine learning, and cellular senescence. In his free time, he likes to cook, and has been fencing since he was a teenager.

Tianqi Fang

Tianqi received his Bachelor’s degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University and Master’s degree from Shenzhen University. He is interested in bioimaging and has prior experiences in spectral computed tomography and image processing. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology, and his research focuses on developing new bioimaging capabilities based on optical coherence tomography.
Huan Han

Huan received her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Engineering from Northwest A&F University. She did research in cellular & molecular biology focusing on plant genetics for her Master’s degree from California State University, East Bay. She is currently a Ph.D. student in biomedical engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology, and she is interested in the study of developmental and reproductive biology using dynamic imaging approaches.
Aleese Mukhamedjanova

Aleese received her bachelor's and master's at Stevens Institute of Technology in 2022 and has since returned to the scene to pursue her Ph.D. in biomedical engineering. She is interested in exploring the intersection of engineering, reproductive biology, and medical anthropology with the intent of addressing maternal health issues. In her free time, Aleese enjoys reading horror novels and doodling on her notes.
Aubin Dauny

Aubin is currently a first year Ph.D. student at Stevens Institute of Technology. He studied data analysis and signal treatment at Ecole Centrale de Nantes in France. In his free time, he likes to walk around the city or in wild natural spaces.
